Consultations

It is a priority of the McCarton Training Institute to become a leader in providing consulting services for children with autism and their families. While there are many education consulting businesses in the New York City area, few specialize in developmental disorders, and none are autism-specific.

The McCarton Training Institute serves school districts and service organizations by providing program evaluations.  Such evaluations can identify areas of strength as well as goals for improving educational services.  In addition, through frequent seminars and workshops, the Training Institute offers continuing education opportunities to professionals, parents, and caregivers.

The Training Institute is creating a series of instructional videos for the internet that will allow educators and caregivers who cannot visit the McCarton facilities to receive consultation services. Training through internet conferencing will also be available.
