Fundraising
As there is little public funding available for autism education, applied research, or training, The McCarton Foundation owes its success and growth to the generosity of many private donors.
Contributions to The McCarton Foundation support:
- an integrated and individualized educational program delivered to children at The McCarton School
- implementation of new curricula to nurture the growth of McCarton School students
- applied research that contributes to an understanding of best practices in autism education
- training of undergraduate and graduate students in the field of autism intervention and professional development for practitioners
- educational workshops for parents and other family members
- dissemination of research outcomes and replication of our model educational program, both of which reach a broad community of those affected by the autism epidemic
The McCarton Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The McCarton Foundation gratefully accepts both unrestricted donations and those directed to a particular cause, including our scholarship fund, capital and equipment needs, research, training, or another special project. The Foundation can also accept gifts of securities.
